What you need for the endgame tactic: The method by EquinsuOchaACE does not necessarily revolve around the best weapons or strong loadouts, but essentially around 2 items. As the title of his Reddit thread suggests, EquinsuOchaACE has increasingly relied on the gas mask and the cluster strike in the final fight – and apparently with success, as he demonstrates in his video:

How EquinsuOchaACE did this in the final circle: The method is essentially simple to explain but can be used in various ways.
EquinsuOchaACE is the last surviving player from his trio team. He eliminates one opponent with his weapon but then has to retreat as he is fired upon himself. The circle shifts, and he moves towards the safe zone – just like the last opposing team. And right now, his touted combo of gas mask and cluster strike comes into play.
EquinsuOchaACE renews his armor plates and stays in the gas with the help of the gas mask. He cleverly positions the cluster strike between the safe zone and the approaching enemy team. They now have a choice: Do they run into the cluster strike, or do they stay longer in the deadly gas and die because of it? And thus, 2 enemies perish due to the clever placement of the cluster strike in the gas, while he finishes off the third enemy, who is hurt by the gas, with a few shots from his weapon.
Multiple applications: While the method can certainly be used to attack enemies in the final circle from the gas and thus eliminate them or force them back into the toxic gas, the cluster strike is also excellent for area control from the gas.
Because this way, you can force enemies on their way to the safe zone to stay a few seconds longer in the gas cloud, and that time can be crucial for your victory. You can also easily eliminate gas-injured enemies coming out of the safe zone if they are hiding in the gas behind cover or pulverize parts of the safe zone if you get caught in a fight there due to the circumstances.
This method does not work in all situations, as a suitable position for marking the target is important for that. However, the gas mask-cluster strike combo that EquinsuOchaACE swears by can certainly secure you the victory in the final fight and should always be considered when strategizing for the final circle.
