The Call of Duty: Warzone is known for its insane kill records and the coveted trophy for the longest sniper kill keeps moving forward. The YouTube channel “DefendTheHouse” has set the bar at over 3,000 meters.
What’s going on here? Call of Duty: Warzone has been on the market for almost 9 months, giving players enough time to test the limits of the game. However, dedicated Warzone soldiers are not deterred from experimenting further to see if those limits can be pushed.
Thanks to the new private matches in Warzone, such tests are now much more predictable for players, streamers, and YouTubers than they were a few months ago. With enough players, one can start their own lobby and work almost under “laboratory conditions”.
This is also what the Warzone scientists from the YouTube channel “DefendTheHouse” have done. Since the release of Warzone, the channel has published several “Mythbuster videos” where the two hobby researchers have tested the mechanics of the Battle Royale. Now it was time for the longest sniper shot.
New Sniper Record in Warzone is 3,068.07 Meters
How does that look? Their latest paper is titled “World Record Sniper Shot in Warzone” and is an English video in which the two channel operators demonstrate that you can still get kills in Warzone from a distance of 3 kilometers:
The two had tried to find the last boundary for hits in Warzone in an earlier video. However, they failed because they could only shoot at vehicles and not at real opponents. When shooting at vehicles, the limit is just under 2,500 meters.
The record to beat was previously at 2,459 meters and even happened during an ongoing cash drop round. Here, the Warzone mythbusters added a solid 550 meters and ended up with a staggering 3,068.07 meters.
What else have the guys investigated? Through the private matches, the two crazy Warzone scientists can now push even further to the limits. No mechanic seems safe from their judgment:
- Can you stop the loot train?
- Up to what distance can you get kills with rockets?
- Can you move loadout drops with other gear?
- Can you block paths with deployable shields?
- How do I use the UAV as a mobile armory?

Recently, a streamer broke another record that also sets new standards. The skilled Warzone soldier and Twitch streamer “Aydan” set a new record with 60 kills in a match. MeinMMO shows you how he broke the record.
