Season 2 brought a lot of weapon changes, new content, and 2 fresh guns to Call of Duty: Warzone – possibly a good time for you to switch your favorite rifle again.
If you mainly play Vanguard Royale, we now want to recommend the new KG M40 to you. The weapon is extremely stable, allows for a variety of setups and rocks even in regular Battle Royale.

CoD Warzone: KG M40 setup is a precision tool
What does a strong setup look like? One of the advantages of the new assault rifle KG M40: you can easily create your own setups and almost always get a usable weapon out of it.
Only one attachment is essential: the perk “Tight Grip”.
The weapon is already very stable in its base version and plays wonderfully. This leaves you plenty of room for attachment experiments to suit your playstyle.

What makes the KG M40 so good? Particularly strong is the very low visual recoil of the KG M40. If you equip “Tight Grip”, the sight hardly moves while firing.
This allows you to attach very large sights to the assault rifle and you still hit your target even at high zoom levels. That’s why the large “3x to 6x” scope is worth it.
Additionally, there’s the relaxed horizontal recoil. The KG M40 hardly jumps left to right while firing, but has a very predictable recoil pattern that drifts slightly to the right.
Where does the KG M40 not perform so well? In terms of damage, the assault rifle cannot keep up with stable alternatives from CoD MW or Cold War.
It’s a weapon where almost every shot hits – but such guns also exist in the old CoD titles. And they sometimes have better time-to-kill rates in Warzone.
Looking at Vanguard Royale alone, the situation is different. With its low recoil and high chance of hitting your shots, it belongs to the top tier selection.

With Season 2, there were many changes to the weapons of Vanguard, but the laser weapons are still reliable.
With the KG M40, another alternative has entered the game that gives you a secure shooting feel and thus instills confidence in long-range combat.
