Today the Mid-Season of CoD Warzone started, and some major changes came to the game. This includes the first community event and an increase in health points. MeinMMO summarizes the most important new features for you.
The Mid-Season has begun in CoD Warzone and Vanguard. The update reshapes Rebirth Island and brings numerous other changes.
Additionally, there will be a series of events. For the first time in the history of CoD Warzone, some community events will come with Rebirth Reinforced, where you have to collaborate.

Rebirth Reinforced brings the 1st Community Events to the Warzone
The new events can be completed for the first time in collaboration with all Warzone players, and they even provide community rewards.
Here, 2 new modes play an important role: Resurgence and Playload.
What are these events? There will be various types of events in the Mid-Season that are summarized under the name Rebirth Reinforced. We have translated them from the patch notes:
Rebirth Community Challenges
- Here, all operators must work together to complete the challenges. Each successfully completed challenge brings “new gameplay elements” and “massive amounts of player XP”. These are the first four events:
- Operators must achieve a total of 20 billion kills on Rebirth Island to unlock the weapons trade stations and earn 25k XP.
- Operators must deliver a total of 190 million weapons to the weapons trade station to unlock the communication towers and earn 50k XP.
- Operators must secure a total of 130 million payloads on Rebirth Island to unlock the public event “Armored Truck Deployment” and earn 75k XP.
- Operators must collect a total of 40 trillion dollars in blood money on Rebirth Island to unlock the secret of the Golden Vault and earn 100k XP.
What are the weapons trade stations? They allow players to trade equipped weapons for items like armor bags. Killstreaks, cash, and other items should also be tradeable this way. This is only possible once per weapons station.
What are communication towers? You can pay $1,500 in cash or $5,000 in scrap to activate red communication towers. This enables the activation of stationary UAVs.
What are the Golden Vaults? In the new version of Rebirth Island, you will find these vaults and other secrets. What they contain will not be revealed.
Participation Challenges
- There are a total of four of these challenges:
- Eliminate 3 enemies in Resurgence Solos on Rebirth Island
- Trade 30 legendary weapons with the weapons trade station on Rebirth Island.
- Hold or move the payload on Rebirth Island for a total of 20 minutes.
- Collect 5 million dollars in blood money on Rebirth Island.
Rewards
- Seven cosmetic rewards will be available during this event.
- Each participation challenge has its own unique reward.
- If you win 25 matches in Resurgence, another reward will be unlocked.
- Additionally, there are 2 mysterious rewards that you can unlock by deciphering secrets on the island…
So throughout the events, there will be plenty of XP and other rewards to grab. Resurgence is already available from today, and Playload starts on March 31.
CoD Warzone makes you tougher in Battle Royale mode
This is changing with health points: With the Mid-Season update, the health points of players in Battle Royale are increased from 100 to 150.
So now you have an additional 150 health points along with your 150 armor. This is a change that was practically longed for in the MeinMMO community.
Before, there were numerous discussions regarding the time-to-kill. Players considered it too low before the patch, and the increase of 50 points is directly based on community feedback gathered from a developer survey.
What else is new? Aside from the aforementioned changes, the Mid-Season update is packed with changes, bug fixes, and new content. Not all of it will be available immediately.

Other changes:
- Facelift Rebirth Island – Here’s the summary.
- Adjustments and improvements to visuals, like the sky and lighting. For example, there will be fog more often.
- With the Armaguerra 43, there is a new SMG.
- Vanguard Royale has been completely removed for now
- Additionally, there are numerous balance changes.

Besides the mentioned changes, a new operator will also come to the game in April. This is none other than old-school rap legend Snoop Dogg.
But CoD Warzone manages to turn even that into a discussion and irritate the community with the coolest rapper ever.
