What were these leaks about? A dataminer has found some interesting hints in the files of Call of Duty: Warzone. This involves:
- Executions with hyenas and white dogs
- Observation scopes
- A better reconnaissance drone
- Music in the Warzone
- A Prop Hunt party mode

What’s up with the hyenas and white dogs? “Executions” are the finishing moves or also executions in Modern Warfare 2019. You can sneak up from behind and take down an enemy in a spectacular way.
“Geeky Pastimes” found executions with hyenas and white dogs in the files. Many of the executions are operator-bound and can only be used by certain characters. You usually acquire new moves either through the Battle Pass or purchasable bundles. The white dog is actually already in the game and came along with Cryo-Mutilation via the Wendigo Bundle into the game.
What’s up with the scope? Here, the data indicates a new item that allows you to scout enemies over long distances. Until now, this has almost only been possible through the large scopes of sniper rifles, which make you visible to enemies due to their strong sight reflection. A small observation scope could come without this effect.
What’s up with the reconnaissance drone? According to “Geeky Pastimes”, the small reconnaissance drone may become a bit more useful. The field upgrade could receive an upgrade and soon gain the ability to hack enemy equipment – similar to the strong perk “Scout”.
What’s up with the music? The dataminer was able to associate a total of 5 music pieces and a HUD effect with something called “event1”. “Geeky Pastimes” doesn’t have any context for this. However, it might be hints about the upcoming Juggernaut mode. In the suit, you have a small radio that plays softly.
What’s up with the party mode? The research by “Geeky Pastimes” also uncovered hints of a Prop Hunt mode in the Warzone. It first appeared in CoD: WWII in the playlist and was also part of Black Ops 4. In this mode, you disguise yourself as an object on the map and must hide from the other team. How this is supposed to work on the large BR map remains to be seen.
