A Twitch streamer from the esports organization Optic Gaming goes insane in CoD: Warzone 2 after his team is shot down by another content creator. He then rants for several minutes about small streamers, claiming they are irrelevant and will never be as successful as he is.
What happened? The Twitch streamer and Warzone pro Bobby “OpTic BobbyPoff” Poffenbarger was on the move with his team in Al’Mazrah. The stream was going really well, as the team started a winning streak.
BobbyPoff and his team wanted to launch a nuclear bomb, the ultimate challenge in Warzone. To do this, teams must win 5 times in a row. After that, they can search for components to assemble the bomb.

His team had already won Warzone four times in a row, so they were on the home stretch. But in their last round, they encountered another team, which also consisted of streamers. Part of this team was content creator Ethan “StellarMoves” Stellar. A smaller streamer compared to OpTic BobbyPoff.
If you want to win more fights in Warzone, you need to level up your weapon. Here are 3 tips to make it faster:
Nuke mission fails and streamer flips out
How did the controversy arise? It quickly became clear that StellarMoves’ team was also chasing the nuclear bomb. The tension was high because both teams must have known that only one of them could ultimately launch the bomb.
OpTic BobbyPoff quickly became frustrated and then escalated his frustration throughout the match. His opponents, and specifically StellarMoves’ team, had no skill, needed to use meta weapons because they couldn’t otherwise. In a montage posted by esports expert Jake Lucky on his Twitter account, you can see how the situation escalates.
After OpTic BobbyPoff’s team was eliminated from the round, he launched into a tirade during the stream and could hardly stop himself afterward. Time and again, he verbally attacked StellarMoves and his team, getting more and more worked up.
They have no skill, no talent, and no entertainment value. In contrast, we are doing a challenge, that’s why people watch us.
My stream today will probably get more views than he [StellarMoves] will ever have on his damn channel!
These guys will damn well remain irrelevant forever!

Big streamer insults the smaller one – Apology not enough for the community
How do fans react? With his outbursts, OpTic BobbyPoff has mostly drawn criticism. Large parts of the Warzone community are showing solidarity with the supposedly “smaller” streamer and accusing OpTic BobbyPoff of arrogance. Twitter user @Samham notes that the big streamer’s behavior is pathetic.
Twitter user @RealJackTheBus humorously remarks that OpTic BobbyPoff behaves in the clip like a wannabe villain from the popular anime “One Piece.”
Another Twitter user named @MaxDangs thinks that this behavior is typical for streamers when they meet opponents with the same skill level. He refers to the often-repeated accusation that big streamers have it easier in Call of Duty than “normal” gamers.
In Warzone, many streamers are said to use VPNs and other tricks to get easier lobbies. Parts of the community even go so far as to accuse big streamers of cheating, claiming that Activision tolerates it. Did OpTic BobbyPoff apologize? Yes, OpTic BobbPoff has since apologized to his opponent StellarMoves. He claims to have lost his nerves in the heat of the moment. That day he had already streamed for 13 hours, and failing to launch a nuke just before the goal had pushed him over the edge.
BobbyPoff apologizes to StellarMoves, he never meant to attack him personally. He admits that it is not okay to make fun of smaller streamers.
However, he contradicts parts of the community that would claim he wanted to personally attack Ethan Stellar. In the round of Warzone in question, he was on an alt account, and during his rant, he didn’t even refer to him by his real name.
