What is this about? In the battle royale Call of Duty: Warzone, you find the best weapons for your matches not within your rounds, but create a strong loadout beforehand, which you bring into the game with a supply crate.
To convert weapons into nasty killing machines, you usually first need to max out the weapon level to benefit from the best attachments.
After more than 30 new weapons were added to the game with the Season 1 of Black Ops Cold War, not only newcomers face the problem that a good portion of the arsenal is at a low weapon level. Warzone: Leveling weapons at record speed – With contracts
How do I level weapons in Warzone the fastest? With “Hamster” contracts in the additional mode “Plunder”.
Start a match in Plunder or Blood Money, depending on what is currently available in the playlist. Mark one of the Hamster contracts (Supply Run) before jumping out and check if a vehicle is nearby. Jump out, activate the contract, and head directly to the objective point.
For the contract, you need to reach a marked buy station within 2 minutes. It can sometimes be quite far from the contract acceptance point, but it’s really quick if you head there directly with a vehicle.
When you complete contracts in Warzone, you also earn a decent chunk of weapon XP. The hamster contract is the fastest and gives you 500 experience points for your equipped weapon upon completion.
Important: Make sure you are holding the correct weapon. The points only count for the weapon you are holding, not for your secondary weapon. As a driver, the weapon that counts in the vehicle is the one you selected when entering.
It’s even faster in a team
How can I further increase my efficiency? With a few tricks, you can further perfect the method:
- Go into the match with a team
- Use helicopters
- Activate tokens for double weapon XP
The best approach is to carry out the entire procedure with at least two people. You also benefit from weapon XP even if you are not at the objective point. One of you will always start the contracts, and a team member will immediately head to the marked buy station.
To progress particularly quickly, use a helicopter for your leveling adventure. The flying vehicles are the best way to move from one contract to the next. However, you are also vulnerable to rockets in the air and, with some bad luck, you can lose your flying vehicle.
If you still have some left, activate a “Double Weapon XP” token before you start a full-level match each time. These XP boosters are regularly available as rewards in the premium path of the Battle Pass. However, note that the timer for the tokens starts counting down immediately upon activation and runs outside your matches as well.
If you can no longer find hamster contracts on the map, you can also start other contracts instead of beginning a new match. All give you a considerable amount of weapon XP, but usually take a little longer. “Hamster” provides the best progress.
Once you have your favorite guns at max level and packed them into your loadout, you still need to organize them in the match. For this, you either buy an expensive loadout crate for 10,000 cash or wait for the free crates that drop for your team in every match.
