Due to a glitch, players have now once again found hints of a new item in Call of Duty: Warzone. This time, it is bandages that could possibly be a new item of Season 4.
What kind of glitch is this? During a round of Plunder, a player from Call of Duty: Warzone collected some armor plates and wanted to use them to strengthen himself. Just as he was about to equip the plates, he climbed a ladder, which changed the healing animation.
Normally it’s the players, who tend to confuse everyone in a Battle Royale, but this time it seems the game is not quite sure what is going on. Instead of adorning himself with another armor plate, the operator starts bandaging himself after climbing onto the roof. However, there are currently no bandages in Warzone.
Glitch shows bandages – Players suspect Season 4 item
What does this look like? On Reddit, the user “regnilsemaj” posted a video of the action. You can clearly see how the animation changes exactly when he climbs the ladder:
Upon reaching the roof of the fire station, confusion now also strikes the player. He sees a rather decent bandaging animation and stands there visibly astonished for a moment before asking, “What is happening here?”.
What could the bandages mean? In the thread about the clip, there is some speculation about what these bandages could mean. Just with the big update 1.20, a new item appeared in Warzone (armor satchels), and now some fans think that something new could also be coming soon. Most comments consider it possible that:
- Bandages are a new Warzone item for Season 4.
- Initially, plates and bandages were planned, and the files were not removed from the game.
- A realistic or hardcore mode is coming, where health does not regenerate on its own.
Since there is currently no statement or known plans from the developers to introduce bandages, all three possibilities remain likely for now.
Curious glitch discoveries have occurred before
Recently, players found mini-guns that suddenly popped out of crates but turned out to be normal weapons when picked up. The found weapon, along with some data miner info, suggests to some players a juggernaut mode for Warzone.
Also interesting was the discovery of a player, who suddenly could play with an unknown weapon. Again a possible hint at upcoming content for the next season.
However, the most curious discovery was the model of a dog that fell out of a crate. Here, although one only got a normal weapon in hand, the find stirred quite a bit of speculation. Since dogs were visible in the Warzone trailer and there was previously a killstreak with a pack of aggressive German shepherds, a return could be imminent.
However, all of this is speculation, as the developers at Infinity Ward usually reveal very little about upcoming content, apart from multiplayer modes, maps, and weapons for the new seasons. What we already know about the new Season 4, you can find here.
