In Call of Duty: Warzone there are now limited time locations from the movies Rambo and Die Hard. A Rambo fan among the players has taken the effort to recreate a key scene from Rambo II almost exactly in the game.
Which location is it about? In CoD Warzone, the POI (Point of Interest) CIA Headquarter is a location from the movie Rambo: First Blood II. This outpost of the US intelligence agency becomes the unfortunate victim of Rambo’s righteous wrath in the film as he brutally shoots it to pieces with his iconic M60 machine gun.
Player truly becomes Rambo at the original location
What exactly did the player recreate? Since the location is accurately represented in the game, the big Rambo fan and Reddit user Qlkov took the effort to recreate the scene as precisely as possible in the game.
- He wears the new Rambo skin
- He grabbed an M60 LMG
- He shoots various objects, such as filing cabinets and computers, to pieces almost in the exact order and speed.
- At the end, when the destruction is complete, he contemptuously throws the weapon to the ground, just like in the movie
To make everything even more impressive, he recorded all of it and overlaid the video on Reddit with a clip of the scene from the Rambo movie. You can therefore almost see in sync with the game how Rambo, half-naked and with the M60 at the ready, demolishes defenseless surveillance equipment. Given such creativity and fidelity to the iconic action film epics of the 80s, it is probably only a matter of time before someone recreates scenes from Die Hard. The associated Nakatomi Plaza is also in the game and MeinMMO author Jürgen Horn would finally start playing Warzone just for that.
