On April 28th, the last patch for CoD: Warzone was released, followed by a hotfix two days later. Now it seems that new problems are arising, as players are reporting an exploit that makes them immortal in the final zone. So, will another hotfix be coming soon?
This is what happened: A player posted a video on the Warzone reddit showing how he became immortal in the final zone. It is an exploit, a bug in the game that can be exploited, not a cheat or hack.
This is the problem: Reaching the last circle and being among the best players of the round is not an easy task. Players get even more frustrated when they lose to someone who is not directly on the battlefield but instead is hiding in the gas.
The toxic gas should normally kill players in a short time and not protect them, as in the current exploit.
This is what the community says: The opinion on reddit is clear, a patch needs to be released as soon as possible:

Will a hotfix be coming soon?
On April 28th, there was already a patch that changed something regarding contracts. Many players complained about it, calling it a bad decision by the developer. Two days later, a hotfix came out, which reverted the change. Infinity Ward responded quickly.
Developer Infinity Ward is usually very quick to fix exploits. So, it is expected that another hotfix will be released soon to address the issue.
However, the exploit does not have major consequences. Many games in battle royale end before the last zone completely closes. Additionally, various conditions must likely be met for the exploit to occur, making it unlikely that you will encounter it.
On the other hand, the last patch also brought something good. It is now possible for you to help friends after they return from the Gulag.
