With the start of Season 4, Call of Duty: Warzone has a fast travel system again – “Red Doors”. Through these red doors you can quickly move around the map, but there is a large element of randomness. MeinMMO explains how the system works, what it brings you, and shows 30 locations where red doors can be found.
Call of Duty: Warzone is trying fast travel in the Battle Royale for the second time and this time uses a completely different strategy than with the first fast travel system. Previously, there was the subway – fixed start, fixed destination. With the start of Season 4, there are the “Red Doors” – unclear starting point, random travel destination.
To help you use the new system of red doors to your advantage, we provide you with the necessary information here. We show you the most important details of the fast travel system, what loot you can loot, and 30 locations where red doors have already been found.
CoD Warzone: Red Doors bring random travel and great loot
A type of fast travel system in CoD: Warzone. These red doors can be found at various points in Verdansk and randomly take you to one of 12 different locations on the map. There are fixed points where the doors can spawn, but in each match, the door locations vary.
You can move quickly across the map with them, and once you have scouted a door, you can use it to your tactical advantage – for example, for an escape. However, there is also a large loot room at the destination point that provides you with powerful items like advanced drones, durable gas masks, or the Specialist Bonus.
According to reports, there are only 3 doors in normal “Battle Royale” and Plunder matches of Warzone per match. Of the 30 locations we show you in this article, only 3 red doors are likely to be active.
The red doors are also not exclusive to the opener and their team. If you escape through one of the doors to the other side of the map and an enemy team follows you, you should keep an eye on the transition point and be ready to fire – the enemies can also use the door.

CoD Warzone: Where are the red doors? – 30 locations
Where can I find the red doors? There are likely 30 red doors in Verdansk ’84, distributed across 7 rough locations:
- 6 at Summit in the Northwest
- 5 at Salt Mine in the Northeast
- 2 at Old Mine in the West
- 6 at Factory in the Center
- 5 at Stadium in the Center
- 2 in Nakatomi Tower in Downtown
- 4 at the farm west of Hills

Red Doors 1 – 6 at Summit
- 1st red door: Enter the main building of Summit from the lower level and keep to the left to go up the stairs. The door may be on this level
- 2nd red door: In the largest house east of the Summit gorge
- 3rd red door: Jump from the upper Summit floor westward into the gap and enter the room facing west
- 4th red door: On the eastern side of the Summit main building, there are stairs that lead you into an internal stairwell – at the very bottom of the stairwell
- 5th red door: In the warehouse directly next to the largest house on the eastern gorge side
- 6th red door: On the first floor of the house directly next to the gondola station on the western gorge side
Red Doors 7 – 11 at Salt Mine
- 7th red door: On the top floor of the factory at the back of the Salt Mine
- 8th red door: North-west on the first floor in the rooms underneath the large tower
- 9th red door: There are 2 houses in the center of the Salt Mine that have the same floor plan. A door can be in the western one
- 10th red door: In the larger house southwest of Salt Mine on the first floor in the southwestern part of the house
- 11th red door: The larger house in the south of Salt Mine – top floor rather in the western part of the house
Red Doors 12 – 13 at Old Mine
- 12th red door: In the larger northern house. Enter the house from the east
- 13th red door: In the large southern house – the room directly next to the railway tracks
Red Doors 14 – 19 at Factory
- 14th red door: In the northern large factory hall in the southwest of the hall
- 15th red door: In the unfinished airplane that is standing there – towards the rear compartment
- 16th red door: Enter the largest factory hall in the south of Factory through the western entrance and jump under the unfinished plane
- 17th red door: On the roof edge towards the northeast of the largest factory – the door is outside and faces south
- 18th red door: In the cellar of the house at the very bottom right in Factory – enter the cellar north of the house and walk through into the last room that is west under the house
- 19th red door: Back in the house at the bottom right, this time on the roof of the red house inside
Red Doors 20 – 24 at Stadium
- 20th red door: By the scoreboard on the left, up the stairs, right against the wall
- 21st red door: If you enter through the door in the middle of the stadium from the northeast, in the room to the right
- 22nd red door: If you enter through the door in the middle of the stadium from the northeast, in the room to the left
- 23rd red door: Walk up the large stand in the southwest a bit and go left into the stand – keep to the right here
- 24th red door: Head to the entrance of the stadium in the southwest, on the left side next to the large passage
Red Doors 25 – 26 in Nakatomi Tower
- 25th red door: Walk over the central stairwell on level 2 and keep to the left
- 26th red door: In the elevator shaft, take the rope to level 30 and go up one more level through the stairs in the room on the left. In the eastern part, you will find a door to a stairwell. Go up one more level to level 32 and a door may be in the southern part
Red Doors 27 – 30 at the farm west of Hills
- 27th red door: On the eastern side of the windmill in the north of the farm
- 28th red door: In the northwestern part of the largest barn on the farm
- 29th red door: Again in the largest barn, when you look out from inside towards the northeast
- 30th red door: On the ground floor of the second largest house northeast on the farm
CoD Warzone: Where do the red doors take me? – 12 destination points
You cannot currently determine the destination point of your journey through the red doors. You go through the door and end up in one of the twelve loot rooms:
- Northeast of the Military Base – Grid D1
- Far south on the western side of Verdansk, Bunker 00 – Grid D8
- North of the airport tower – Grid C3
- In the middle of the Salt Mine – Grid G3
- In the center of Lumber – Grid I5
- In the Factory – Grid D5
- At Promenade East – Grid E7
- In the school building by the dried-up river – Grid E3
- In the southern farmland – Grid H7
- In Storage Town – Grid C5
- Northern Lumber, near the police station by the bridge – Grid H4
- West of Boneyard – Grid B6
The loot rooms can only be accessed through the “Red Doors” and are otherwise closed – if players attempt to enter the rooms from the outside, some doors even have deadly arguments against it.
Since there are likely only 3 red doors in a match, fast travel is no longer as predictable as before with the subways. But the effect is all the greater. If you find a red door, you can use the information for your tactics and/or snag a decent amount of loot. If teams follow you through the door, it is likely to lead to interesting duels.
