Developer Raven Software announced via tweet: In CoD Warzone all vehicles on Rebirth Island have been disabled. Although the developers did not provide reasons for this step, the community has a clear suspicion: the golden bunkers. MeinMMO reveals more.
Rebirth Island is probably the currently most popular map in CoD Warzone. Currently, you can only traverse it on foot.
As developer Raven Software announced in a tweet, all vehicles on Rebirth Island have been disabled. At 9:30 AM our time on April 11, it was stated: “We have temporarily disabled vehicles on Rebirth Island while we investigate an issue.”
The developers do not mention a reason for this step, but the community is quite sure they know the reason. “I think we all know what the issue is,” titles a reddit user.
This refers to the mysterious golden bunkers and a glitch that allows you to enter early.
Players have ruined surprise with vehicle glitch
Since the Mid-Season Update, there have been several secret bunkers on Rebirth Island. How you open 3 of them and grab the good loot inside is known.
However, there were also bunkers with a golden vault door that could not be easily opened. Initially, players had to complete a large community challenge and other secret steps before these golden doors would open.
But clever players have found a way to bypass all of that. Using vehicles, players literally force their way through the locked door to land inside the bunkers – and claim valuable loot.

As a result, players have not only prematurely destroyed a surprise. Those who exploit this glitch can quickly and easily obtain very powerful loot, giving them a huge advantage in the battle royale.
Even though Raven has not officially stated it: It is heavily assumed that this bunker glitch is the reason why vehicles were disabled.
When you can race in vehicles again across Rebirth Island is currently unknown. However, this step is unlikely to be a permanent solution.
