The Battle Royale Call of Duty: Warzone is richer in curiosity. A player discovered a setup of the assault rifle FAL, with which he can detect enemies through walls and even eliminate them.

FAL setup discovered and enemy eliminated through walls
What does that look like? On reddit, the user “LordTexugo” posted a clip demonstrating the new “wallhacks”:
In a Battle Royale match on Verdansk in solo mode, Texugo runs with a riot shield across the map and activates a reconnaissance drone. In one of the Soviet apartment blocks, he detects a suspiciously quiet, red dot through the reconnaissance – a camper about to be slaughtered.
The dot on the radar only allowed for 3 possible positions of the opponent, and Texugo could fairly accurately predict where the enemy was situated. He runs up the stairs, pulls out his secondary weapon, and uses the reconnaissance grenade from his underbarrel grenade launcher. Through the grenade, Texugo can briefly see the enemy through the wall. The “full metal jacket” attachment does the rest – with his FAL, Texugo eliminates the camper through the thick house wall.
Is this intended? The full metal jackets work just as they should. With the additional attachment, you can give many weapons from Modern Warfare a penetration boost. While not all walls can be reliably shot through, there are some structures that become “more permeable” as a result. However, penetration still depends on the weapon. The FAL already offers strong penetration without the full metal jackets, and the attachment adds even more.
However, it can be doubted whether the functionality of the reconnaissance grenades is intended. The so-called “snapshot grenades” actually require a line of sight to the enemy when being thrown. But in the video, it is clear how far Texugo is from a line of sight. He would actually have had to throw the grenade into the room to trigger the effect of the grenade. In fact, it worked even from the hallway. It is quite possible that this is a bug in the game. However, no indication of the error from the developers can currently be found.
By the way, you can find these underbar grenade launchers on all assault rifles from Modern Warfare except for the AS VAL.
What do the players say about it? Even if it is a supposed bug, the mood in the thread about the video on reddit is relaxed. The commentators respect the player’s discovery and ask questions about full metal jackets. The assault rifle FAL is also a topic. Some consider the weapon to be underestimated and feel it deserves much more attention.

On August 12, Season 5 of Call of Duty kicks off and brings another type of legal “wallhack” into the game. For the first time, Warzone gets its own perks and with “Combat Scout” you can see enemies through walls if you hit them with a bullet first. The second new perk “Tempered” improves your armor plate logistics.
