The developers of the Call of Duty: Warzone want to keep the battle royale exciting with events and quirky modes. Thanks to a glitch, we now know: even Juggernauts could soon appear in the battle royale.
What is this glitch? Thanks to small technical errors, players occasionally see something in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare & Warzone that is supposed to remain hidden – like weapons that have not yet been released.
Currently, soldiers in the battle royale are surprised when a mini-gun suddenly lies on the ground in front of them. The weapon actually belongs to the Juggernaut combat suit. While it has been possible to pick up a fallen Juggers’ mini-gun before, that was only in multiplayer.
In the Warzone, these armored giants have not been encountered before. But thanks to the recent weapon discovery in the battle royale, rumors about a Juggernaut mode are heating up. But how likely is such a mode and what could it look like?
Mini-Gun in the Warzone – Juggernaut mode could come
What is that with the mini-gun? The heavy weapon currently apparently drops from loot boxes or a defeated opponent can drop the device. Here is an evidence photo:
When you pick up the weapon, you currently don’t get a mini-gun in your hand. The model seems to overlay the right weapon that should actually be there.
If you pick it up, it is like a few weeks ago, when a dog suddenly fell out of boxes as a weapon. You will not have a mini-gun, but you get the weapon that actually lies there. This is likely to be a purely graphical error.
They are strong foes who come at players with powerful armor and mini-gun.
In Modern Warfare 2019, the combat suits including mini-gun are available as a killstreak for 15 kills in a row. One is heavily armored, but quite slow.
The first earned Juggernaut is a milestone for many players in multiplayer and could also provide plenty of fun and chaos in the Warzone.
Release and process unclear – Anyone could be a Juggernaut
How likely is a Juggernaut mode in the Warzone? The rumors are currently fueled by 2 discovered hints:
- The mini-guns in the Warzone
- Mini-gun seen in the trailer
- The leak account “Modern Warzone” spreads on Twitter that a Juggernaut mode has been found in the data
In the trailer for the Warzone from early March, you can briefly see a mini-gun shooting from a helicopter at the large tower at the airport.
Together with the announcements from the leak account “Modern Warzone” on Twitter and the now discovered mini-guns, some players are sure: Soon there will be a crazy Juggernaut mode in Call of Duty: Warzone.
And what could such a mode look like? There are no concrete hints regarding the mode, but some soldiers have already thought about how the mode could look.
- There are several suits on the map; to get a Juggernaut, players have to fight for them. The Jugger player then has to achieve a specific goal
- The suits drop only with the last gas circles and there is a big Jugger battle in the endgame
- All players are Juggernauts! The playing field could be smaller from the start and the gas could be slower
A battlefield with 150 Juggernauts would surely be an interesting experience. However, we will only see what the mode looks like at release – maybe already in Season 4. It is certain that with the next season, new weapons will come. 5 possible firearms have also been found in the data.
