The new Season 4 of Call of Duty is online and starts with a small live event for the Battle Royale Warzone and Black Ops Cold War. MeinMMO shows you the solution with the rewards for the event.
What kind of event is this? With the “Crash” or “Ground Fall” event, the ongoing background story of Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone is supposed to come more into focus for the players. The nasty new operator “Jackal” causes the crash of two American satellites. One of them crashes over Verdansk.
This creates 4 new locations on the map, but also the basis for the crash event in Warzone. In Cold War, there are also tasks related to the new content in the game. Overall, you can secure 7 cosmetic rewards if you complete all tasks. The event is already active, and MeinMMO shows you how to complete the tasks. You can complete the event tasks until next Thursday, June 24, at 7:00 PM.
Crash Event in Warzone – Solution to the 3 Tasks
The 3 tasks are all related to the satellite crash in Warzone, and you should use the new mechanics that are now in the game. Therefore, it is not immediately clear what you are actually supposed to do. What is certain is that you must solve all tasks in regular “Battle Royale” matches – Plunder does not work.
Task 1: Secure Uplinks – Secure 5 Uplink Stations in Warzone.
You need to find and capture Uplink stations. The stations can be found all over Verdansk, but there is no guaranteed spawn point. According to initial reports, however, the spawn points are fixed. One station near the small roundabout settlement in the south near Hills appears always at the same point – but not in every match.
Look around carefully in your matches and pay attention to the stations. Capturing takes about 15 seconds. We will embed a map with possible locations of the Uplink stations here:
Task 2: Secure Firewall – Eliminate 10 enemies near an active Uplink Station or a recently crashed satellite.
Once you have activated the Uplink Station, a round reception antenna unfolds, and the station is activated. When the station is in this state, you must eliminate enemies nearby. This also applies to crashed satellites that fall from the sky after capturing the Uplink stations. More about that in the next task paragraph.
Task 3: Secure the Crash Site – Collect 3 rewards from crashed satellites
When you secure a Uplink Station, you initiate a satellite crash over Verdansk. Listen carefully and look at the sky to find out where the satellite is falling from the sky – or rather where it is falling. Then run to the damaged piece of technology and interact with the crashed satellite. This gives loot and advances you in the task. Players report that the satellites often drop “H.A.R.M.” killstreaks. These are particularly strong reconnaissance drones that reveal many enemies on the map for you.
The hardest to solve is task number 2. Eliminating 10 enemies near such stations can be quite difficult and time-consuming.

Crash Event in Cold War – Solution to the 3 Tasks
The other 3 tasks must be completed in the Multiplayer mode of Cold War. Here, too, everything revolves around the introduction of the innovations in the game. You need to collect kills on the new maps or use the new scorestreak “Hand Cannon”.
Task 1: Global Network – Achieve 250 eliminations in matches on the maps Collateral, Collateral Strike, Hijacked, or Amsterdam.
You need to simply collect kills on the new maps. At the start of the season, the mode “Hijacked 24/7” is online – this should go the fastest. Grab the new scorestreak “Hand Cannon” to also work on Task 3 from Cold War.
Task 2: Uplink Online – Earn 1,000 points from captured Uplink Stations in the “Sat-Link” mode
Sat-Link is a new fireteam mode where you take over satellites as a 4-member team and earn points. Each captured satellite gives points, and there are items that increase point output. The maximum for a round is 500 points from the satellites. So you need at least 2 rounds to complete the task.
Task 3: Big Caliber – Achieve 15 kills with the Hand Cannon scorestreak
Grab the new scorestreak and go hunting. The Hand Cannon is a nasty pistol that can take out enemies with a single shot in regular multiplayer matches. It doesn’t matter whether the bullet hits the head or the little toe. Furthermore, the weapon is strong against deployed scorestreaks on the ground – like the turret. The Hand Cannon costs 2,800 points, offers 8 shots, and has a cooldown of 90 seconds.
Crash Rewards: 6 Thematic Cosmetics and a Crazy Hand Cannon
Overall, you can obtain 7 free cosmetics by completing all tasks. Each task gives a reward, and when you complete the 3 rewards of a game, there is a colorful blueprint for the Magnum on top. Therefore, you don’t need to play both games to get the blueprint.

Call of Duty launches Season 4 again with a small live event that is related to the story. However, the crash event only runs for about 7 days, and you should tackle the tasks quickly if you like the rewards.
