In a video clip, a cheater from Call of Duty: Warzone is seen looking frustrated. He was killed despite his cheats… by another cheater. The community mocks both parties.
What is the problem? Cheating has long been a part of shooters and also of Call of Duty: Warzone. This is annoying for non-cheating players. But also for the cheaters themselves (via Dexerto.com).
In the clip, a streamer wanted to show his viewers some action using a wallhack. But his plan was thwarted by a fellow cheater.
“In this game, everyone cheats”
The clip shows: On reddit, DingDingDongDotJPG shares a video of a streamer. The streamer calls himself HackingFredward and streamed his Warzone gameplay on the live streaming platform Facebook Gaming.
At the beginning of the video, the streamer explains that he doesn’t want to bore his viewers, but wants to provide them with action. But his match didn’t last long. Shortly after he was discovered, he was already on the ground and out.
When he watches the killcam from his opponent’s perspective, he notices why he died so quickly.
This is how the streamer reacts: “Oh, he’s cheating, bro. Come on. You could see the walls.” In disbelief, the streamer shakes his head and sums it up: “Everyone cheats in this game. Holy Shit.”
This is what the viewers say: On reddit, DingDingDongDotJPG explains that the streamer has apparently been banned several times, but then plays with other accounts while cheating.
Regarding the clip, Its_All_Me notes that the cheats make it really easy for players. “Interesting that the enemy is yellow when out of sight and then turns red when in sight. Incredible how cheats make this game easy for people. No wonder my KD has dropped by 0.10 over the last year due to the increase in cheaters.”
User MadAshx asks: “What, no honor among clowns?” A reference to “No honor among thieves” – a phrase suggesting that criminals also rob and cheat each other.
Many others mock that the cheater in the stream is annoyed to have been taken out by another cheater.
