The poor performance of an aimbot user in a match in Call of Duty: Warzone brings good cheer to the community. On Reddit, it has been met with laughter, mockery, and scorn.
Many players are complaining about cheaters and hackers in the Battle Royale Warzone. Even the professional scene is not protected from it. However, currently, a particular cheat seems to be bringing good cheer to the community – rather, his failure. It seems that some are really enjoying it.
“I enjoyed seeing him fail”
This is currently being celebrated by many: Recently, Reddit user zimrh shared a clip from Warzone on the discussion platform, where he falls victim to an aimbot user.
Instead of angrily leaving the match, he calmly watched the cheater’s gameplay until the end and did not regret it in the end. As he states in his thread title, the cheat user was even bad at cheating, and it was a real pleasure to see him fail at the end.
This seems to be the opinion of many other players as well. In just under 2 days, the post has received over 7,300 upvotes. In numerous comments, players are amused by the cheater and enjoy his failure. Even the currently most popular weapons in Warzone would probably not have helped the cheater.
What did the cheater do? Not much – and the little that he did, he did poorly.
After zimrh fell victim to the aimbotter, the cheater blazed his way through the match and achieved numerous kills at greater distances with the aimbot, where the opponent probably couldn’t even see or notice him.
But in the few critical situations where actual skill would be required, he did not perform very heroically or skillfully. He almost took himself out with his his own, too-late grenade throw and subsequently nearly bit the dust in what was essentially the first direct confrontation.
In the second direct duel, he made a mistake at a critical moment and went down because of it – despite the aimbot. He encounters an enemy – with just 2 kills. But instead of relying on his aiming software to take him down easily, he slips and then swaps weapons. All of this costs him valuable seconds, which leads to him paying with his virtual life and losing the match.

This is what other players say about the cheater: In numerous comments, users mock the aimbot user and remind that cheating software is no guarantee of victory. Among other things, it is said:
