In Call of Duty: Warzone 2, players can earn not only many dollars in the DMZ mode with a minor glitch but also level up their weapon in the process. The developers noticed this and nerfed the trick, but fans find other ways to level up.
What was the glitch? In Call of Duty Warzone 2, many players are looking for the best ways to level up their weapons. This involves not only conventional tricks, such as throwing decoy grenades but also the use of glitches.
A particular exploit was considered particularly effective. With this, you could generate millions of dollars with a large backpack and a weapon, and also earn a lot of XP for your weapon at the buy station.
When the developers caught wind of this, the glitch was nerfed within a few days to the point that it was no longer worth it, but players are not discouraged. They have already found other ways to level up their weapons.
Fans are not discouraged
A new trick is said to be better than the old one: The reddit user C4RS200 expressed his thoughts on reddit about Warzone 2’s update policy. He mainly addressed the quick patching of the glitch. According to him, the trick was nerfed in less than a day, while a still-existing trick involving the dead drop boxes is not only more lucrative but still active.

The reddit user AManForThePeople even goes a step further, claiming that the developers want to keep players tied to their game for hours. With such tricks, the grind is reduced and thus the pressure to stay in Warzone 2 to level up weapons is decreased.
Nevertheless, fans are constantly finding more exploits to reduce their grind and play the game the way they want. It remains to be seen when the developers will address more serious issues like broken spawn locations or bugs with weapon blueprints.
