In the DMZ mode of Call of Duty: Warzone 2, a “weapon” is considered particularly strong. It is now likely to be nerfed because players behaved like thugs.
Which “weapon” is it? The deadliest weapon in Warzone 2 is not a weapon in the traditional sense: the deadliest weapon is the vehicles that can be found in Al-Mazrah.
A hit with a vehicle causes significant damage and can take down even the boss enemies of the DMZ mode with a single hit.
It therefore established itself on the streets of Al-Mazrah that players became street thugs and used their vehicles as killing machines.
No more traffic thugs in the radiation zone
What kind of nerf is this? Shortly after the release of Warzone 2, it was a popular method to run over the chemist in the radiation zone of the DMZ mode to get the new assault rifle M13B.
As the CoD leaker “TheGhostOfHope” reported on Twitter, the radiation zone of the DMZ mode will now have a DDoS effect. In the comments of his post, he further explains that due to this new effect, the use of vehicles within the radiation zone will no longer be possible.
How will the nerf affect gameplay? You will no longer be able to run over the chemist with a car to unlock the new assault rifle M13B as easily.
This makes the quest for the M13B significantly more challenging, as the chemist can be a tough opponent who can take several bullets from your assault rifles if you don’t take him out with a vehicle. So prepare well before attempting without a vehicle.
