In Call of Duty: Warzone, 2 glitches are currently competing for the title of the worst bug in the game. Both bugs have appeared in the game before and are now making an unpleasant comeback. No matter which one your enemies use – your match is ruined.
What’s going on in the Battle Royale? Players of Call of Duty: Warzone are currently having a tough time:
- the weapon balance is off
- a weapon skin from the Battle Pass deals too much damage
- players are cheating to get easy lobbies
And as if these problems weren’t annoying enough, now 2 nasty glitches join in that the game had supposedly already overcome: the “infinite stims” glitch and the “invisibility” glitch.
2 old bugs causing new trouble in the Warzone
MeinMMO refrains from providing a detailed guide on the glitches in this article.
What does the stim glitch do? There is a bug in the game that gives cheaters the absurd ability to use their tactical equipment indefinitely. They can theoretically spam their enemies with stun and flash grenades until they lose interest.
A bolder application, however, is the stims, which are the tactical healing items. With them, the cheaters can survive in the gas. Instead of strategically eliminating the last enemy team from the map, stim glitchers only need a cozy spot in Verdansk where they can wait out the match, letting the gas do the rest for them. It’s cowardly to the extreme.
What does the invisibility glitch do? Unfortunately, exactly what it sounds like. Cheaters have found a way to make themselves invisible.
The glitch first appeared with the start of Season 1 of Black Ops Cold War and was also the reason why the combat helicopters disappeared from the game. To this day, the new vehicles have not returned to the Warzone – unfortunately, the glitch has. If you encounter an invisible player, you have little chance to do anything against the nasty cheater.
What’s next? Currently, there is no statement from the responsible developers about the two bugs. However, the CoD creators should respond quickly, as both glitches are absolutely unfair and ruin matches.
On Thursday, January 14, the big mid-season update for Season 1 of Cold War is launching. So far, there are no announcements regarding the Warzone. However, experience shows that something usually happens in the Battle Royale when a mid-season update arrives.
It remains to be seen whether Warzone can finally get its problems under control or if players will continue to suffer under the rather poor conditions that Warzone currently presents.
