In Call of Duty Warzone 2, you will not be randomly dropped into Al Mazrah for the DMZ mode. There are fixed spawn points that every player should know. We will show you all the spawns and why some locations are more worthwhile than others.
Where do you spawn in DMZ? Those starting DMZ mode for the first time will be placed at some location at the start of a match. From there, your journey for supplies, money, and above all, weapons and armor begins. However, these spawn points are fixed and predetermined by the developers.
Once you have figured this out, you can already know at the beginning of a round where opponents might be located.
This prior knowledge gives you a significant advantage in the match and can determine whether you can escape successfully or not. So be well-informed and remember some spawn points. This way, you can track down your opponents more easily.

The reddit user FlufflyPlays22 has documented all possible locations where players can spawn. We will embed this map for you here.
FlufflyPlays22 categorizes their spawn points into three categories:
- Red – The most dangerous spawns
- Yellow – Decent spawns where you have cover from opponents
- Green – Generally the safest spawns
Why are some locations more dangerous than others? Not every spawn is a good one. Players start either empty-handed or with some weapons from their inventory. However, the problem is that some players hunt other soldiers.
They will find the nearest vehicle and check several spawn locations at the beginning. If you are not equipped, you will simply be wiped off the screen.
By doing so, they minimize their competition and find it easier to secure either weapon crates or even the new M13B. So if you catch one of the red spawns, it may happen that you are already expected by campers on your way into the interior, who simply wipe you out.
It is definitely advantageous to know where you spawn and especially where opponents might expect and ambush you.
