There are occasional drops with the servers – lags, high pings in matches or sometimes you cannot connect to the lobby.
So far, however, the servers have always calmed down after a while. No reports from the developers regarding the server situation found.

If you have problems logging in, always try the good old restart of your device first – whether on PC or console.

If your download is progressing slowly, check in the launcher menu under “Settings” and “Download” whether you have capped your download speed:
If you haven’t capped anything here, it could also be the servers. Blizzard confirmed on the evening of the Warzone release via Twitter that the downloads were restricted server-side – in some cases, they were even completely suspended:

On PlayStation and Xbox consoles, there may be occasional problems with the download. You might get a message saying “Something went wrong” or a hint that the multiplayer has not been installed.
Then go to the menu of the individual game components and delete all parts except the main game. Reinstall the individual game components.

This morning, the Update 1.10 is available for Season 1 of CoD MW2.
Important: If you completed the preload of Warzone 2 on November 15, you still need to download an update now. Check if you have the right version; otherwise, you’ll be facing a big patch at release this evening.

How did the release of Modern Warfare 2 go? The first days and the release weekend were bumpy. While it was possible to play, there were repeated disconnections and crashes.
