In Call of Duty: Warzone 2, you need to find dead drop boxes in some missions and deposit items in them. Therefore, we show you all the important information about the dead drop boxes and where their locations are.
What are dead drop boxes? In Warzone 2, you will encounter tasks related to dead drop boxes during your DMZ journey. These drop boxes are not traditional mailboxes but large trash containers scattered wildly across the map.
You need these trash containers either for your quests, where you must deposit items in them, or when you are trying to reduce your cooldown for your insured slots in your loadouts.
Since these containers are often hard to find, we show you all 6 locations on the map with exact directions.

1 & 2. – Alley Hotel Sawana and Gas Station Mawizeh Swamp
Where is the drop box located? In the second sector of Al Mazrah, there are two dead drop boxes. The first is located behind the Hotel Sawana in an alley. Go over the winding bridge in Al Mazrah City and look for a narrow alley with trash bins.
You can find the second drop box near the Mawizeh Swamps. On the map, you will see three bridges leading over the swamp. Take the first one from the left and head to the gas station. The container is near a wall. If you see a huge power pole nearby, you are in the right place.
3. Junkyard Al Sharim
Where is the drop box located? The third dead drop box is located in the fourth sector of the map near Ahkdar Village. This one is located at a yellow wall near a house west of the sector.
4. Al Samman Cemetery
Where is the drop box located? You can find the fourth dead drop box in the fifth sector of Al Mazrah near the Al Samman cemetery. Follow the adjacent road until you see a small cluster of buildings to the northwest of the cemetery. The container is located on the wall of a small white building.
5. Mall Said City
Where is the drop box located? The fifth dead drop box is at the back of the mall near the lake. The wall extends for several meters and is easily accessible, so you won’t miss the container.
6. Train Depot Quarry – Rohan Oil
Where is the drop box located? You can find the last dead drop box in the first sector of Al Mazrah between the area of Al-Safwa Quarry and Rohan Oil. Look for the adjacent tracks and follow them to a train depot. The trash container is located next to a small building with a metal facade.
