A few crafty individuals apparently saw this as the perfect market gap to make some extra dollars. On reddit, the user “aur0n” posted a picture from a forum with an offer promising a completely new CoD account for just $2:
The whole thing runs through a Discord server where the details are discussed. Upon joining the server, you even get the first account for free. There are bulk discounts if a cheater decides to purchase several accounts at once. Even a refund is possible if the account does not work within the first 24 hours.

How can this be so inexpensive? It all sounds well thought out and professionally executed. The low price, the bulk discounts, and the free account upon joining the server suggest that the providers likely have a large source of unused phone numbers which they exploit for their dubious activities.
Why is this a problem? Since the security update to two-factor authentication, some cheaters have complained that they can no longer easily access the game.
Since free hacks generally have a greater chance of being detected, the threshold for purchasing cheats with better security measures decreases. If you google “cod cheats”, you quickly find offers for Warzone at around $13 per day. Adding some accounts to that isn’t too heavy on the wallet.
