The release of Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is bumpy. Recently, a particular bug with the in-game friends list system caused issues. However, during the night from November 17 to November 18, 2 updates were deployed to make playing together more enjoyable.
Which bug was fixed? Aside from the severe server problems, a bug with the social menu was one of the biggest annoyances that players had to endure shortly after the release of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.
But the developers have now confirmed: The social menu is fixed, and we can again access our friends lists normally. Previously, you could often only access your friends lists using a trick.

Additionally, there was another small update yesterday evening that also tinkered with a social feature (via twitter.com).
This was about the fact that you had no display of who was in your squad while loading into the match. We checked this and were able to inspect the group before the match started.
CoD Warzone 2: “Is Warzone down?”
During peak times between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM, there were again severe server problems in our server regions. Players were unable to log in, and the server pings during matches reached unplayable levels. We in the editorial team also faced issues.
In the meantime, the search term “Is Warzone down?” trended on Google. However, the battle royale was not down at any time. There were only massive fluctuations in server stability.
There has been no official report on this so far. It is currently unclear what is responsible for the server difficulties. We will continue to monitor the situation and will inform you if there are new updates.
The first evenings of Call of Duty: Warzone 2 did not go optimally for some players. Server stress, crashes, high pings – hardly any player was spared from such issues.
Some were lucky and could play through several matches without problems. Others didn’t even get that far – not even to the main menu.
