The former e-sports caster Jack “CouRage” Dunlop speaks in a video about Call of Duty: Warzone and why it no longer brings him joy. The reasons are likely known to everyone, and he has a solution as well: he should just be allowed to do it.
Who is CouRage? The streamer and former pro has been in the business since 2007, starting with Halo. He has been involved with Call of Duty since 2015 in Major League Gaming (MLG) and worked there as a caster.
For some time now, he has been working as a streamer and content creator for the e-sports team “100 Thieves”. He is known among other games for Call of Duty and Fortnite, but he also frequently showcases viral hits like Among Us.
In Warzone, he often plays with well-known streamers like NICKMERCS, TimTheTatman, and Cloakzy. However, he hasn’t played with the three of them for a while and explains in a video why that is. His allegations can be found in the embedded video in English starting at minute 10:30.
“I’m tired of the game”
These problems are pointed out by CouRage: CouRage complains that he is simply too slow for Warzone at the moment. He is at a low point regarding his attention span and ability to play Warzone. But these are not the only problems:
The reason I stopped playing with Nick, Tim, and Cloak is that I’m tired of the game. I love Warzone, but I also hate it. Either we’re getting cheated against, we have stream snipers following us, or the sim glitch shows up for the seventh time.
With this, CouRage addresses issues that many players have probably known for a while. While he might be exaggerating with seven times, in January the sim glitch was already in the game for the fourth time.
In general, there are too few changes in Warzone. Nobody uses the trains, and there is too little new content.
How could this be fixed? CouRage ends his tirade about Warzone with a suggestion: “Give me the lead.” Apparently, he is convinced that he can do it better than the developers themselves.
Shortly after the release, CouRage and his colleague Keemstar commented on Warzone. They predicted that Warzone absolutely needed to fix some things, otherwise it would be dead in a week. So far, the game seems to be doing quite well.
