Call of Duty: Vanguard and the Battle Royale Warzone have presented their first joint roadmap, showing the plans from October 28 to the start of Season 1 on December 2. MeinMMO provides you with an overview of the most important dates.
The new Call of Duty: Vanguard will be released on November 5 and is entering the final phase before the release. The creators of the new World War CoD have presented a roadmap outlining the plan from now until the start of Season 1.
Also included is the schedule for the release of the new Warzone map named “Caldera.” We will show you the complete schedule with details.
CoD Vanguard & Warzone: Roadmap until Season 1
- October 28 – Preload start for PlayStation and Xbox
- November 2 – Preload start for PC

- November 5 – Launch of Vanguard
On Friday, November 5, it begins – Vanguard celebrates its release and starts with the 3 usual modes:
Additionally, the new anti-cheat system “RICOCHET” will begin its work in Vanguard. Part of the anti-cheat is also a PC driver, which will only go online later and will be introduced in Warzone first. More about the anti-cheat can be found here:
- November 5 to December 2 – Pre-Season 0
Right after the release, there will be no ongoing live season in Vanguard, but a kind of pre-season. In Season 0, there will still be a small content highlight – on November 17, Shipment arrives in the game. A small map with a lot of chaos and a lot of experience points.
- November 18 – Operation Flashback in Warzone
Warzone is preparing for the farewell to Verdansk and is starting an event with Vanguard. With Operation Flashback, a nostalgic mode goes online that aims to celebrate the successes of the first 18 months of Warzone. There will be an exclusive emblem and special calling card to unlock – more details are not yet known.
- November 24 – Secrets of the Pacific
Shortly before switching to the Vanguard engine, Warzone and the new Call of Duty are launching a joint event with the first reference to the new Pacific map from Warzone. You can unlock exclusive event cosmetics in both games and gain information about the new map.
- November 30 and December 1 – Last Hours of Verdansk
In the last two days in Verdansk, we will witness what is happening in Verdansk in preparation for the new “Caldera” map. However, there are currently no details available. What we know about the events and playlists of Warzone in November can be found here:
- December 2 – Season 1 starts
Warzone will completely switch to the new “Caldera” map. Rebirth Island, by the way, remains in the game. All buyers of Vanguard can also start the new Warzone map a day earlier. Additionally, the first Battle Pass of the new CoD generation will go online, including 2 new weapons.
For Vanguard, there are new multiplayer maps, 3 operators, fresh zombie content, and many new missions and challenges with unlockable rewards.
Thus, the schedule for the entire November and the start of the season for Vanguard and the revamped Warzone is clear.
