Call of Duty: Vanguard starts its first live season. Today, December 9th, the next major patch arrives. Developer Sledgehammer Games has presented all the changes in an English blog and announced further updates for the future. MeinMMO tells you what changes are coming.

All changes in patch 12.9 from December 9th in German

The patch from December 9th improves the following:

  • Performance & Connection:
    • Improved stability when connecting to lobbies.
    • “Server Snapshot Error” has been fixed.
  • Mortar Fire: Improves visibility by reducing smoke effects that fill the entire screen. Players must be closer to the mortar fire to be affected.
  • Weapons: Shotguns now correctly hit the front of opponents carrying shields on their backs.
  • Map – Shipment: Spawn logic has been adjusted to prevent spawn traps.
  • UI/UX: 2XP icons now appear when 2XP is activated on certain platforms.

What has already happened? On December 6th, there was the first preparatory patch for Season 1. Here are all the patch notes for multiplayer from this update in German:

Multiplayer

  • Weapon Rest: The weapon rest has been generally improved. Players reported issues with the support height and that they could not lean on certain objects.
  • Gunsmith: 
    • Players can now save their own weapon blueprints
    • The camera position for some weapons and attachments has been adjusted.
