The next part of the CoD franchise, Vanguard, has now been officially announced. What did you think of the first glimpse of the game and will you play the shooter?
Here is the new CoD: It has been known for a while that CoD: Vanguard is in development, but the first major wave of information came with the reveal event on August 19.
The setting of Vanguard takes us back to World War II and is heavily inspired by real historical events. Players experience the story of military special forces as we know them today. As part of an international group of soldiers, you carve your way to Berlin in the missions.
Fighting takes place on the 4 most important and decisive battlefields of World War II:
- Eastern Front
- Western Front
- Africa
- Pacific
CoD Vanguard is also massive. It will launch with 20 multiplayer maps, the Gunsmith feature from Modern Warfare makes its return, and there will be more destructible environments in the game than ever before.
Meanwhile, Warzone players can look forward to many post-launch content, such as a new map related to the World War II setting of Vanguard.
