Call of Duty: Vanguard has been on the market for almost 3 weeks and is still plagued by some unfair bugs. One of the worst bugs in the game allows good players to frequently access the best killstreaks.

- This gives you strong advantages that secure even more kills
- Due to a bug in the game, it is very easy to frequently unlock the 3rd and best killstreak
Field Upgrade Destroys Killstreak Balance
Those who fight through the matches of Call of Duty: Vanguard with full dedication are often rewarded with killstreaks. A UAV here, a glide bomb there – this way you can secure strong advantages with just a few consecutive kills.
However, if you achieve 9 or 10 consecutive kills, it’s time for the big guns:
- Tank with flamethrower
- Dog squad attacks enemies
- Incendiary bombs blanket the battlefield
If an opponent activates these strong streaks, even the best cover usually doesn’t help against a death. Now imagine if you could ensure that you receive these advantages time and again, but only need one kill instead of 10. The field upgrade “Dead Drop” makes it possible.
However, you should not be able to achieve the consumed killstreaks anymore.
The glitch with “Dead Drop”: We will refrain from giving a detailed explanation of the bug at this point. However, together with the field upgrade “Dead Drop”, strong players can currently organize the best killstreaks with just one kill.
For this, the killstreak must be unlocked beforehand. However, after its use, you only need one kill to unlock another use of the extremely strong war machines.
Will this stay? The bug is severe and also favors strong players. The already difficult killstreak balance is completely thrown off.
You can expect that the developers will soon address the glitch. However, at the moment there is no statement about a possible fix, and the error has not yet been noted on the developers’ Trello board (via trello.com). On the board, you can check which issues the developers are currently working on.
Currently, there are still quite a few things in the game that are too strong – aside from the killstreaks. Some weapon attachments provide such significant advantages that the respective weapons stand far ahead of the competition.
