Call of Duty: Vanguard lets you experience World War II as part of the Vanguard unit in the solo campaign. But how long does the fun last and how much gameplay is involved? What is included in the campaign’s playtime? In the solo campaign of Vanguard, you play in the eponymous special unit, where members of various special forces of the Allied forces are represented. Your goal is to stop the nasty Nazi villain Colonel Group Leader Hermann Wenzel Freisinger and his secret Project Phoenix.
To do this, you fight your way through nine different missions across various war zones, including the already known Battle of Stalingrad. Each of them lasts between 30 and 45 minutes, depending on how much time you take to explore the maps and what difficulty level you have chosen.

The length of the single-player campaign of Vanguard is in line with the average duration of the series
This is the length of the campaign in Vanguard: Assuming a regular difficulty level and a player who is somewhat competent in shooters, the campaign should last between 4.5 and 7 hours.
So if you play quickly or are very skilled, you might defeat the Nazis after a good afternoon post-release and celebrate Victory Day.
How long is the duration of a CoD campaign on average? With an average length of just over 5 hours, Vanguard is in line with the CoD series average. For comparison: The last title, Cold War, was also completed in just over 5 hours. The longest title in the series so far was Black Ops III, which required about seven hours of playtime.
The campaign playtime is over, what should I play now in Vanguard? Fortunately, the campaign is not the only thing you can play in the game. Because if you enjoy mowing down AI opponents but don’t like playing alone, you can have fun in the new Zombie mode and slay masses of undead.
