The new update 1.07 for Call of Duty: Vanguard is live and MeinMMO shows you the patch notes in German. Included were the new chaos map “Shipment”, a fix for the overpowered attachment “Vital”, and several minor changes.
What’s happening in CoD? The release of Call of Duty: Vanguard was 2 weeks ago and apparently the developers are now addressing the first issues of weapon balance. The attachment “Vital” combined with heavy Russian bullets led to 2-shot kills with the STG44 and the type 100. One of the biggest balance problems is thus out of the game.
Additionally, Shipment, the most popular map from CoD MW (2019), has entered the game – just in time for the first free weekend. Starting this evening, Vanguard can be played for free until Monday (November 18 – 22). We’ll show you the complete patch notes here.
CoD Vanguard: Patch on November 17 – Patch Notes
Information about the update: The update is already live and you can start it anytime. According to reports, the patch size is around 250 MB on consoles and up to 3 GB on PC.
Unfortunately, the information about the fixed attachment “Vital” was not mentioned in the patch notes. Secret changes to weapons and attachments were also an issue in Modern Warfare and the early days of Warzone. The official patch notes look like this:
- Players could not start Vanguard on the PS5 if they had less than 40 GB free
- Sometimes weapon camos could not be applied
- You can no longer use weapon camos that you do not own
- There could be crashes when sending clan invitations
- Operator progression issues fixed
Zombies
- The scoreboard could not be viewed after a death or exfiltration
- Sometimes the armor status was not displayed correctly
- There were cases where missions did not start and no progress was possible
If you want to take a look at the patch notes yourself, you need to start the English version of Vanguard. So far, the changes have only been visible in the game and the patch notes have only been available on time in English.
With the update, the developers are already addressing an important issue in weapon balance, but there is still much to be done. The MP40 still has a 2-shot setup, and the shotguns in Vanguard are also nasty overpowered guns.
The developers have already announced a nerf for the shotguns, but no date has been given. 39 seconds for a nuke is probably a bit too wild.
