Call of Duty: Vanguard has brought its first update live and fixes some annoying bugs in the game. MeinMMO shows you the official patch notes in German.
Although the release of Call of Duty: Vanguard went off without too many issues, a few annoying bugs have slipped in here and there.
Sometimes a camo challenge does not count the progress, sometimes there are issues with the evacuation after a few rounds in Zombie mode. With the new update 1.05, some bugs disappear, and we show you which ones they are.

Which problems were fixed? In total, the CoD developers list 16 minor and major bugs in the patch notes that they have worked on:
Bug Fixes
- Broken mid-level checkpoints in the campaign
- Some players could not redeem codes for cosmetics or XP bonuses
- The deploy shield did not protect from behind when you carried it on your back
- Invisible player models in “Play of the Game” and MVP voting were fixed
- Progress issues with the operator Constanze
- Fully leveled operators appeared as if they were at level 0
- Inaccurate descriptions for some weapon challenges were revised
- Progress with the 1911 pistol now goes beyond level 50
- There were issues accessing loadouts/the gunsmith after level 66
- Further unnamed bug fixes and performance improvements
Zombie Mode
- All camo challenges for pistols can now be completed correctly
- The zombie kill tracker works correctly during evacuation now
- If you go down in zombie mode, the use of self-revive is now displayed correctly
- If you go down during the skull escort in zombie mode and are outside the damage circle, you no longer take extra damage
- All players should now be offered legendary alliances at the altar of alliances
- If you check your unlocks in the after-action report, you should no longer get kicked out of the lobby
- If you were downed and someone revived you, you sometimes could not use field upgrades anymore
If you want to take a look at the patch notes yourself, you need to start the game. The information about the update is currently only available in-game.
With the first major update, Vanguard apparently forgoes balance adjustments in multiplayer. Many players would have wished for overpowered options to disappear from the game, such as the extremely powerful 2-shot STG.
But it remains to be seen how the developers at Sledgehammer are handling this, whether there were possibly secret changes or if another update is already on the way in the coming days.
