In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and the Battle Royale Warzone, there are currently queues when trying to enter the game. The reason: a small update.
This is the update: As Infinity Ward announced on Twitter, this update is merely a small patch. It is currently going live on all platforms.

The list of changes for Modern Warfare and Warzone is, following the larger update from April 21, quite concise. It primarily consists of bug fixes:
- A bug was fixed that allowed players to create Game Battles Blueprints, which they could then use in multiplayer or in Warzone.
- A sound bug when picking up a dropped Renetti has been fixed.
- Fix for an invincibility exploit after reviving a teammate in Warzone
- Additionally, a bug was fixed that caused two watches to appear on the wrist of the CTSFO 1 Mil-Sim operator
Overall, the update is quite manageable. Still, players are noticing its impact right now.
Players complain about waiting times
This is the problem: Both on Twitter and Reddit, players are currently complaining about long waiting times, sometimes up to 30 minutes, when trying to enter the game.
Some players have apparently been kicked directly from the game due to the update and now have to wait several minutes as well:
“How does that make sense? I was in the game, wanted to join a match, was kicked because I had to download and update, and now I have to wait to play the game I was just in,” reports the user ParrysReddit, and he is not alone in this.
The queues are expected to settle down over the course of the evening, as many players currently want to return to the game at the same time. In addition to the queues, cheaters have also been a source of frustration lately. One player is currently taking them on almost single-handedly.
