CoD MW3 & Warzone: Season 3 Reloaded starts today

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone will start Season 3 Reloaded on May 1st. Here you will find all the information about the midseason update and its content in an overview.

On May 1st, the Reloaded update for Season 3 in CoD: MW3 and Warzone will be released, bringing a new weapon, two new multiplayer maps, new modes, new content for the zombie mode and for Warzone. Additionally, there will be new weekly challenges and events introduced into the game.

When will the update be released? The update will launch on May 1st at 6:00 PM German time on all platforms.

How big will the update be? So far, it is not clear how large the update will be.

What is included in the update? The update for MW3 will include a new weapon, two new 6v6 maps for multiplayer, two new multiplayer modes, new events, new weekly challenges, new content for Warzone, and the zombie mode. You can expect the following:

new weapon: BAL-27 (assault rifle)
- unlocked through a new sector in the Battle Pass

CoD MW3: Season 3 Reloaded – Content

What is coming for CoD MW3? Two new multiplayer modes, two new maps, new weekly challenges, and events are planned:

two new modes for multiplayer:
- “Minefield” is a new mode that brings explosive dynamics to multiplayer. While the rules are the same as in the individual modes being played, eliminated operators drop a proximity mine. The mine cannot be picked up and is therefore deadly.
- In “Escort”, teams take turns escorting a vehicle through the map, with the goal of hacking three points on the map. The vehicle only moves forward when an attacking operator is nearby and turns around when a defending operator approaches.

two new maps for multiplayer:
- “Grime” is a new medium-sized multiplayer map (6v6) in a deserted corner of London. In the harbor district of Grime, you will fight in a graffiti-covered center and use murky waters and narrow alleys to gain an advantage against your enemies.
- Many will already know “Checkpoint” from Rebirth Island. The 6v6 version is a modified version of the map, where the upper corridors and control tower are sealed off to bring the fight to the ground.

two events:
- In the “Vortex” event, you can unlock 12 rewards by collecting XP. The event has been running since April 24th. Additionally, there is a Vortex playlist with map variants of Rust, Scrapyard, Quarry, Skidrow, and Terminal, which have a mystical sci-fi design.
- On May 8th, the in-game event “Call of Duty Endowment (C.O.D.E.)” will start for Military Appreciation Month.

new weekly challenges:
- In Season 3 Reloaded, new weekly challenges will be added in CoD: MW3, allowing you to unlock further aftermarket parts for various weapons.

CoD Warzone & Zombiemodus: Season 3 Reloaded – Content

What is coming for Warzone? The midseason update will bring a change in weather conditions on Rebirth Island related to the increasing airstrikes. Additionally, more items, events, and features will be added to the mode:

In the “Heavy Armor” event, you can equip an additional armor plate, increasing your hit points from 150 to 200. This requires you to adjust your tactics accordingly, as the time-to-kill is also increased.

The new “Utility Box” is a combination of ammo and plate box and can be found as ground loot and purchased at the buy station.

In the “Weapon Trade Station”, you exchange your weapons for a weapon of lower rarity and receive additional loot. This includes ammunition, money, and equipment, such as field upgrades, killstreaks, and gas masks.

“Foresight” is a new killstreak that reveals future gas circles in the game.

The bunkers in Warzone will also receive an update in Season 3 Reloaded and will hold rewards for curious teams who explore them.

What is coming for the zombie mode? A new story mission will be released for the zombie mode where you will carry out a rescue operation. There will also be three new schematics that you can acquire for future operations. Additionally, a new warlord will make an appearance – Rainmaker.

You will find the new warlord in his fortress on the island of Rahaa in Urzikstan, where he is supported by an army that he is all too willing to use for the annihilation of Operation Deadbolt. Prepare for tough battles and traps.
