On January 17, the Reloaded update for Season 1 will come to CoD: MW3 and Warzone, bringing new content, a new map, and new weapons to the shooter. One of the new weapons is the HRM-9, a submachine gun.
In Season 1, several submachine guns belong to the meta – we have introduced you to the top 3 here with setups. Whether the HRM-9 will rank among them remains to be seen.
How to unlock the HRM-9
With the HRM-9, a new weapon joins the submachine gun collection. According to callofduty.com, you can unlock the submachine gun as part of the weapon chamber challenges by completing daily tasks, which should be quite feasible.
Update January 17: You can unlock the HRM-9 in Sector A21 of the Battle Pass. To do so, you first need to complete an adjacent sector and complete four tasks:
- JAK Thunder-LMG Kit: Achieve 10 Operator or Special Zombie kills with submachine guns’ sights
- JAK BFB: Achieve 10 Operator or Special Zombie kills with submachine guns from the hip
- “Skull Splitter” emblem: Achieve 10 Operator headshots or critical Special Zombie kills with submachine guns
- Double Battle Pass XP Tokens: Achieve 10 Operator or Special Zombie kills in tactical stance with submachine guns
- HRM-9: Earn all sector rewards
The developers describe the HRM-9 as a lightweight and robust 9mm close-combat submachine gun that is well-suited for quickly taking down enemies. The HRM-9 has a high rate of fire and solid handling and mobility, making it particularly suitable for aggressive play styles. With attachments, its capabilities at medium and short range can be improved.
