On December 6th, the first season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will start. It also brings a fresh start for Warzone. What this means for your hard-earned stats, you will find out here on MeinMMO.
On Wednesday, the first season of CoD: MW3 starts and brings a lot of new content to the game. In addition to a new battle pass that includes new weapons and operators, the season also brings new maps for multiplayer, as well as a new map for Warzone: Urzikstan.
But there will not only be changes regarding the map, because: All your stats will be reset in Warzone with the start of Season 1. What this is all about, we will reveal to you here.

Which stats will be reset? On December 5th, the developer Raven Software writes on X (formerly Twitter) that Warzone will start the season with a “fresh combat record”, but specifies nothing exact in the post.
Thus, we assume that all stats that can be viewed in Warzone are meant:
- Playtime
- Games played
- Average kills per game
- Points per minute
- KD (kill-death ratio)
- Placements
- Best weapons
- Best finish (per squad size)
In the post, Raven Software writes:
Season 1 of Call of Duty: #Warzone will start with a new combat record that will directly display the stats for battle royale.
Visible stats for resurgence and loot cash will appear in later seasons.
Please note that tracking stats for all modes will start with the beginning of Season 1 and will be displayed retroactively when the mode-specific combat records go online.

One user adds in a post on Reddit, which addressed the topic on December 5th: “If you are good, the stats will be better when they are reset, as you (probably) have improved over time. Also, stats are not important, just play to have fun.”
Why are the stats being reset? According to Dexerto, this is related to the integration of Warzone into CoD: MW3 and represents a fresh start. This way, the movements from MW3 should also play a role in Warzone, thereby replacing the outdated mechanics from MW2.
With the onset of Season 1 in CoD: MW3 and Warzone, not only new content comes – a popular mode is supposed to be no longer supported soon. Although it will not be completely scrapped, but rather left to its current state:
