Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone are launching into Mid-Season 5 with the “Reloaded Update”. Here you will get all the information about the update and the content at a glance.
A new mid-season patch is on its way to CoD Warzone 2 and MW2 with new content, weapons, and skins. You can find out what content to expect and when the update will be available here in our overview.

CoD: Mid-Season 5 – Update, Download, Preload
When is the update coming? The update starts on August 30 at 6:00 PM German time on all platforms.
How big will the update be? So far, it is still unclear how large the update will actually be.
What’s in the update? CoD is launching with new weapons, operators, and changes regarding DMZ in MW2 and Warzone 2. Here’s what you can expect:
- 3 New Operators
- Lara Croft
- 21 Savage (Rapper)
- Mace
- 3 new weapons
- Lachmann Shroud
- 9mm Daemon (Pistol)
- Pickaxe
- New balance changes to refresh the meta (not yet known)
- New map “Visitor Center”

CoD MW2: Mid-Season 5 – Content
What’s coming for CoD MW2? A new map and mode are planned:
- The Visitor Center of Building 21
- This is a map for stormy gameplay
- Gunfight Snipers
- A duo mode where you only fight with snipers

CoD Warzone: Mid-Season 5 – Content
What’s coming for Warzone 2? In Warzone, there will be a new map that you can choose. Additionally, the return of a familiar mode and news about the extraction mode, DMZ:
- Fort Resurgence
- You can choose this map for Warzone. It is the fortress Al Bagra in Al Mazrah.
- Armored Royale
- In a group, you must protect a truck to achieve victory
- DMZ gets new missions
- The Shadow Company provides you with new missions and refreshed tasks
- You can also unlock permanent bonuses to succeed on your journeys
