In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 und Warzone 2 exists a new Prestige system, with which players can adorn their account. We will show you how to activate it, what rewards you get, and what emblems are available.
Update, November 18: The first season is live, and the Prestige system works as it should.
How do I activate Prestige now? Prestige is activated differently in MW2 and Warzone 2 than previously known. Players no longer receive temporary levels that are reset every season.
Your Prestige thus remains consistent across upcoming seasons and can be earned at your own pace. With the new system, you won’t miss anything and are no longer pressed for time. Now, let’s move on to the emblems.
What emblems and Prestige are there? The developers offer you in Season 1 a total of five levels for Prestige. These must be earned through achieved ranks. Here are the levels needed for the following Prestige:
- Prestige 1 – Level 55
- Prestige 2 – Level 100
- Prestige 3 – Level 150
- Prestige 4 – Level 200
- Prestige 5 – Level 250 (Last Prestige for Season 1 and also the level cap)
What rewards are there for each Prestige? When you achieve a Prestige, you automatically unlock the corresponding emblem. Additionally, you will receive further challenges and rewards that the developers have not detailed.
If you complete and pass the challenges, you will receive a special business card as a reward, which you can equip in your barracks.
Why can’t I equip my Prestige? Currently, there is a bug in the system where players trying to equip their Prestige symbol after level 56 encounter issues.
We assume that the system will only be fully functional upon the release of Season 1. However, if this is not the case, we will update our contribution and keep you informed.
