On the night of November 22 to 23, the new update 1.11 for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 was released. The patch lives up to its name and fixes over 40 issues in the game. MeinMMO shows you the patch notes with the most important adjustments.
Call of Duty: Warzone 2 has been on the market for just over a week and is thrilling millions. Modern Warfare 2 is about to hit the month mark and has already made more than a billion dollars.
From now on, the service phase begins – regularly, bug fixes and new content will come to the game, and update 1.11 makes a strong start.
The latest update works on more than 40 issues in the game, and we will list the details for the download and the contents on MeinMMO.

CoD MW2 & Warzone 2: Update 1.11 – Patch Notes
When is the update coming? The patch is already live, you can download it at any time.
How big is the update? You only need to download about 1 GB – the update remains rather small on all platforms.
What’s in the update? There were a few minor adjustments to the balancing and the UI – we will list those first. However, the majority consists of extensive bug fixes.
- Armor-piercing ammunition: Extra damage against armored enemies removed
- Warzone: No counter-drone and no tactical cameras at the buy stations
- Better navigation in the weapon camouflage menu
- Visual upgrade of the contracts in Battle Royale
The rest consists of bug fixes. We looked at the complete list and present you with the most important adjustments:
- Fixed broken spots on various maps
- Removed issues with audio calculations
- Fixed progression barriers in the gunsmith
- Battle Pass now shows the correct season end
- Fixed issues with certain graphics cards – some were unable to start the game because of this
- For some challenges, progress was not counted correctly
- Fixed incorrectly displayed unlocking requirements
- Increased stability in private matches
- Fixed buggy proximity chat
- Parachute opening could lead to crashes
- Sticker unlocking was broken when extracting weapons from the DMZ
- Players you finished sometimes did not appear in buy stations to be revived
- Resolved an issue that caused players to be completely knocked out even though they still had living teammates
- Correct after-action report should now be visible
- DMZ – sometimes grenades could not be equipped correctly
