In the collaboration between PlayStation and Call of Duty, PS Plus members receive an exclusive combat pack each season with a handful of free cosmetics – now the “Phantom” pack of Season 1 is online. MeinMMO shows you the items and how to get them.
Call of Duty and PlayStation have been working together for a few years now and offer players on PS4 and PS5 a few advantages. Among them, a boost to weapon XP in PlayStation parties or longer double XP events. This applies to Modern Warfare 2 as well as the free Battle Royale Warzone.
Also included is a seasonal combat pack – with each new season, PS Plus members can grab a free pack of cosmetics and keep it forever – you can find the contents and requirements here.

What’s in the pack? It includes an operator skin, 2 weapon blueprints, and a few small cosmetics:
- Operator skin for Oni
- MP weapon blueprint
- Pistol blueprint
- Animated calling card
- Animated emblem
- Sticker
- Weapon talisman
Where can I use the contents? You can use the entire pack without restrictions in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. You just need an active subscription to PlayStation Plus to get the items.
With CoD Cold War and Vanguard, certain operators were not available; they were limited to premium titles. Currently, there is no such restriction with MW2 and Warzone 2.
How do I get the pack? Start your PlayStation, visit the PS Store, and enter “combat pack” in the search. You will see 3 packs displayed – the most recent packs from Vanguard and Cold War are also still available.
You can also activate the pack in your browser or on your mobile phone, but you need to log in first: CoD Combat Pack Season 1 in the PS Store.
What about the other platforms? PC and Xbox completely miss out on the combat packs. These packs are apparently part of the cooperation between Call of Duty and PlayStation – they are likely to remain in this form for a few more years.
