Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 launches without its popular Hardcore mode, and the modes are now called ‘Tier 1’. When Hardcore will come to CoD MW2 and what these modes are, we will show you on MeinMMO.
Which mode is missing? In CoD, there are a variety of modes that have been created and implemented over many years. Many of the modes can be played with a special rule set – with Hardcore rules.
However, Modern Warfare 2 launched without Hardcore modes. Furthermore, it is now called ‘Tier 1’. The developers have confirmed, however, that Hardcore will come to the game with Season 1 on November 16. You can find all the information about Season 1 here. CoD MW2: Hardcore is now ‘Tier 1’
What is Tier 1 as a mode? CoD Modern Warfare 2 has given the Hardcore mode a new name and it is now called ‘Tier 1’.
In Tier 1, players will be thrown onto a map with ‘realistic’ conditions. You will have to deal with a reduced HUD, less health, and will need to expect team damage when you activate this mode.
Players with a shaky finger on the trigger will have a hard time, as you cannot afford any mistakes and accidentally shoot a teammate.
Basically, “Tier 1” offers a fresh change, as strong reflexes and tactics can help you achieve victory. Carelessness will be punished and can quickly send you to the grave.
