In its early days, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was a playground for trickshotters – due to a glitch, players could launch themselves high into the air, resulting in some intense clips. Now the glitch is unfortunately fixed, but MeinMMO shows you some of the resulting artworks.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has toned down its movement compared to recent years:
- Slide-cancelling is removed
- Bunny-hopping is less effective
- “Boots to the grounds” is the motto
In the past, players could secure extreme advantages through quick combinations of movement tricks – more so in the titles with jetpacks than in others, but even in Call of Duty: Warzone, incredible maneuvers are possible to outsmart opponents.
This suited so-called trickshot players, who collected wild kills with daring stunts to create cool clips. Unfortunately, Modern Warfare 2 is not optimally suited for this.
The first days after release looked different. A glitch allowed players to shoot themselves high into the air and land adventurous kills. A particular attachment caused a rocket launch. What lies behind it and some beautiful trickshots will be shown on MeinMMO.

What was the trick behind it? A specific attachment provided the lift – bipod under-barrel for sniper rifles. At certain spots, like on the map “Taraq”, players could propel themselves to dizzying heights:

The trick quickly made its rounds, many players attempted the daring maneuver – sometimes more, sometimes less successfully.
A highlighted clip of the action is probably the following. There is this guy in the community who has been producing CoD clips where he collects kills using musical instruments … yes, he did it – with a flute:
However, the trick remains a glitch, a bug in the game, with which one can even sneak advantages. The developers have therefore deactivated the broken attachments, as well as the weapon tuning a few days ago:
When you can use the attachments again, the authorities currently leave open.
