In Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 there are no statistics and barracks like those in previous CoD entries. Players have to sift through menus to find what they are looking for. Therefore, we will show you how to easily change your calling card and when you can view your K/D.
First: Currently, you cannot view your complete K/D. Neither in-game nor on statistic sites like the CoD Tracker. In Warzone, players could access their statistics in the game without complicated detours. Unfortunately, this has changed with Modern Warfare 2.
There is currently no statistic menu item for MW2. There is also no information on when or if such a menu will be added.
You only have one way to access your kill-death ratio, and that is after finishing a match.
After a match, the horizon of your map and the corresponding statistics window briefly appears. Now you can see your K/D under kill/death ratio. This window includes not only your values but also those of your teammates and opponents. An expanded view of your statistics in the menu does not exist yet.
At least the barracks have an easier time, because this menu item exists, just not as directly as in Warzone.
Barracks exist, just not like in Warzone
What are barracks? Barracks are a menu item in Call of Duty where you can customize your profile in the game cosmetically. This includes your showcase, calling cards, emblems, and your clan tag.
In CoD MW2, there is no direct barracks menu item, but we will show you a way to still customize your profile.
How can I access the barracks? To access your profile, you first need to open the menu. Once you have opened it, you need to move the tab until you have selected your rank icon. Now you have all menu items open to customize your profile.
Here is a visual representation of how you can access your barracks:

So far, there are not many cosmetic items, but you can customize your showcase to show your friends what you have achieved so far. Friends and other players can then inspect your profile to see which operator you are playing and what weapon you prefer to use.
That was all the important information about the current possibilities of statistics. How do you feel about Infinity Ward removing or complicating these menu items? Feel free to let us know in the comments!
