At the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, there is a Fast Food promo skin at Burger King. However, not everywhere, and thus some fans are willing to pay up to 40 dollars to wear a ‘Burger Town’ T-shirt in multiplayer and Warzone.
What kind of skin is this? It features an operator with a combat helmet, tactical backpack, brown pants, holster, and a ‘Burger Town’ T-shirt. ‘Burger Town’ is a fictional fast-food chain that fans may already know from Verdansk.
If you were worried that the operator skin was a giant burger mascot, we can reassure you. In the past, there have been skins that looked somewhat out of place in the serious setting of Modern Warfare.
However, with Modern Warfare 2, the developers at Infinity Ward want to focus more on realism again. The chances that you will soon be flattened by an opponent in a Godzilla costume in Warzone 2 should, accordingly, have decreased somewhat.
That skins in Call of Duty are not always purely cosmetic regularly causes controversy. Some skins are so dark that they give you an advantage in Warzone.

Activision is heavily promoting the release
Where is the promo skin available? Activision and Burger King have teamed up to promote the launch of the new entry in the Call of Duty series.
In 40 countries worldwide, Call of Duty fans can receive a promo code with their burger and fries order at Burger King. Although the promo event only takes place in selected countries, the skin itself can be redeemed from anywhere.
Fernando Machado, the Chief Marketing Officer of Activision Blizzard, shared a photo on Twitter showing a Burger King location in Puerto Rico—entirely in “Call of Duty” design.
Surprisingly, the USA is not among the countries where you can obtain the promo code. Given the continuing interest in exclusive items, it didn’t take long for the first codes to be offered for sale on Ebay.
Over a dozen codes have already been sold on the auction platform. Sellers were able to achieve prices between 20 and 40 US dollars. Currently, there are even 51 listings for the skin on Ebay.
Call of Duty promotions with chips, soft drinks, and now Burger King
Are the codes also available here? No, at Burger King in Germany you unfortunately cannot obtain promo codes for the skin. In France, Denmark, Spain, and Switzerland, however, the promotion is available.
If you live near the border or plan a vacation in these countries in the coming days, you can secure the operator skin there with an order at Burger King.
However, we advise against accepting offers on Ebay or other platforms. There is simply no guarantee that you will actually receive the codes in the end.

Wasn’t this done before? To promote Call of Duty, Activision has frequently collaborated with fast-food chains and snack manufacturers. There have been promo codes during the purchase of Doritos chips or the soft drink Mountain Dew.
Usually, these codes could be redeemed for double XP in the game. But weapon emblems or talismans were also available through promotional products.
