If you want to see a trailer for Multiplayer and Warzone 2, we have just the right one for you:
Team Deathmatch
What kind of mode is this? Team Deathmatch is the most well-known mode in CoD. In this, two teams compete against each other. The team with the most kills wins. There are no other tasks to complete, only the kills count.
Who is this for? This mode is primarily for players who either want to warm up or just have a relaxed round. You don’t have to pay attention to tactics and can have a little fun with friends or solo.
Free for All
What kind of mode is this? A classic from CoD is “Free for All”. In this, you compete solo against other solo players and have to achieve the point limit through kills. Everyone is on their own.
Who is this for? Free for All is great for practicing. You can best train how to react in gunfights to come out victorious. Basically, this mode is for anyone who wants to have fun or test their skills.
Domination
What kind of mode is this? In Domination, you compete against one team and must capture, defend, and hold three fixed points on the map. The team that gains the most points through these zones wins the match.
Who is this for? Domination also belongs to those modes that can be played for relaxation. Depending on the map, enemies can be quickly taken out and many weapon kills achieved. So if you want to test a new setup, Domination would be more for you.
Search & Destroy
What kind of mode is this? In Search & Destroy, two teams compete against each other. One team has to place the bomb in Zone A or B, while the other team has to take down the bomb planters and defuse the bomb.
Who is this for? Search and Destroy is a tactical mode in which you must coordinate with your team. Respawns are disabled, so you can’t rush into battle like Rambo; otherwise, it negatively impacts your team.
This mode is primarily for those who like to choose their steps strategically and carefully to confidently secure victory.
Headquarters
What kind of mode is this? In Headquarters, you must capture a headquarters on the map as a team. After that, you must defend it, but be careful: The attackers cannot respawn on deaths. The crew that gains the most points through captures wins.
Who is this for? Headquarters is a chaotic and especially difficult mode. Without tactics, it won’t work, as many teams will mine the area around the headquarters or bombard it with grenades. It is advisable to go into the mode with a coordinated team to communicate. Team players are especially needed here.
Kill Confirmed
What kind of mode is this? In Kill Confirmed, you must eliminate enemies in teams and collect their dropped dog tags. Sabotage your enemy by picking up the dog tags of fallen teammates to deny them their kill.
Who is this for? Players who like to farm kills and maneuver smartly through the map are well accommodated in this mode. Players who enjoy roaming in Team Deathmatch will also find this enjoyable. The two modes only differ by the mechanics of the dog tags.
Position
What kind of mode is this? In Position, you and your team are thrown onto the map and must find and occupy a randomly generated position on the map. The besiegers receive points per second. But watch out, the position constantly changes on the map. The team that has received the most points through positions wins.
Who is this for? Players who can move accurately and quickly through the map are made for “Position”. The important thing here is to hold the opposing team at bay until you have collected enough points. You must proceed with a pinch of tactics to succeed.
Prisoner Rescue
What kind of mode is this? In Prisoner Rescue, one team must free the hostages while the other must protect them from the rescuers. Respawn is disabled, but you can revive fallen teammates. The team that either eliminates the opposing side or rescues the most hostages wins.
Who is this for? The new mode from MW2 is a fun mode in which distraction and strategy must intertwine. Especially team players will feel comfortable in this mode, as the situation can change quickly due to good tactics.
Knock-Out
What kind of mode is this? In Knock-Out, you must secure a package or neutralize the opposing team. Respawn is disabled, but you can revive fallen teammates. The team that eliminates all enemies or holds the package long enough wins.
Who is this for? Again, this is a tactically oriented mode. Coordination is essential, as this way you can inform your teammates where enemies are located. So if you’re in the mood for sweaty rounds where even a single player can turn the match? Then you are in Knock-Out well accommodated.
Ground War
What kind of mode is this? This is one of the two large modes. You will be thrown onto a large map with vehicles with a 32-player squad and must capture zones like in Domination. The team that collects the most points wins.
Who is this for? For any player who is in the mood for action. In Ground War, you will find lots of fun, freedom, and especially space for tactical players or casual soldiers who want to explore something new. Mistakes can be forgiven, as so many teammates can intervene.
However, it can be difficult at first to get into a rhythm.
Invasion
What kind of mode is this? Invasion is the last big mode in CoD MW2 and also lets you land on one of the large maps. Your goal is to eliminate the opposing team to collect points. The team that reaches the point limit wins.
Who is this for? Those who want a huge round of Team Deathmatch will be happy with Invasion. The maps offer plenty of space for all types of play. Campers, rushers, or the sweaty pro next door will feel comfortable in Invasion.
Important at the end: Many players wondered at the release of CoD MW2 where the hardcore mode “Tier 1” is.
This has not yet been implemented, according to Infinity Ward, and should be delivered later. Now the responsible parties have provided a date. This is set for November 16, 2022. The same release time as Season 1.
