CoD MW2: 3 strong weapons with setups for your entry into multiplayer

It is still too early for a reliable assessment of the weapon meta of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. However, MeinMMO has taken a look around and delivers you 3 strong weapons with setups shortly after release – an assault rifle, a submachine gun, and a battle rifle.

A strong weapon is like a good teammate in the multiplayer of Modern Warfare 2 – you can’t always rely on it, but it brings advantages.

MeinMMO looked around shortly after the multiplayer release and lists 3 strong weapons for you that you can rock in the first hours. Here you can also find a setup for the starter weapon M4.

CoD MW2: MP – Vel 46 available from the start

The Vel 46 is probably better known to many players as the MP7. You have the submachine gun right upon unlocking your loadouts, and you will likely like the little weapon.

Because even though MP7 is no longer on the label, it is still the MP7 inside – good hip fire, decent damage, low recoil: a strong MP for the entry.

Here, too, a different name is on a weapon otherwise very well known in the MW universe: this is the SCAR-H. In CoD MW2019, the SCAR never really made it into the meta, in Warzone even less so – magazines are far too small.

In CoD MW2, however, the assault rifle has a good chance of establishing itself a bit – low fire rate meets high damage.

If you haven’t reached Level 19 yet, rely on the starter assault rifle M4. You can hardly go wrong with that.

If you also like to carry a marksman rifle in your pocket, you should opt for the first weapon of the Lachmann platform. Massive damage and high range will make your kill feed glow – if you can handle the single shot and feel like it.

Single-shot styles could be very strong in CoD MW2 overall. However, not enough time has passed since the release for a safe statement. But level up your quickscope sniper.
