- Operator Griggs is now in the game
- There were backend preparations for a higher resolution on consoles
- The Warzone has been prepared for Cold War and separated from CoD MW
Original report: Only a few days left until the release of Cold War on Friday (November 13). But before that, Modern Warfare is back in the spotlight, as some PlayStation players started downloading the extensive update 1.29 over the weekend.

How big is the update? A hefty 30GB data block is upcoming for players of CoD MW and Warzone. On PlayStation, the update weighs more than 33 GB.
When does it start? The update will be available for installation starting November 11 at 8 AM. It is expected to start on other platforms as well.
Can everyone preload? According to player reports, the preload is only available on PlayStation and is being rolled out in waves. Some players have already been able to download the update, while others are still waiting for their allocation.
