Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and CoD: Warzone are ramping up the excitement before Season 4 with a new video. Fans have discovered 2 cult characters and 2 weapons that are likely to come into play with the new season.
Story Summary before Season 4: CoD MW and Warzone’s new Season 4 starts on June 3. To prepare the players for this, there was a brief summary of the events surrounding Warzone after the end of the MW campaign – in the form of a video.
However, not only is the storyline being refreshed a bit, but at the end, there is also a short teaser of what we can expect in Season 4 regarding new weapons and operators.
CoD MW & Warzone: Which new operators are coming in Season 4?
Captain Price: Captain Price was previously teased in connection with Season 4 – much to the delight of many fans. Now there has been another strong hint.
The end of the video is a clear indication that we will soon experience the legendary SAS Captain outside the solo campaign as well – as a new operator. It seems almost certain that Price will become a new playable character for traditional multiplayer and battle royale – probably through the battle pass.
Gaz from MW 1: In the video, Price is asked about his team. He replies that there are “some old comrades”. At the end of the trailer, you can see who he is referring to.
Gaz, another character from the Modern Warfare campaign (and originally Modern Warfare 1) and a member of Team Bravo, is seen alongside Price – next to an unknown female character. This could possibly be Iskra, wearing a skin without a headscarf.
Many players are looking forward to the return of the SAS soldier and find it cool that he is inspired by the look of Gaz from MW1. Some are even more excited about Gaz than about Price.
CoD MW & Warzone: Which new weapons are coming in Season 4?
What new weapons are coming? There have been some leaks already, a total of 5 weapons have been on the radar for a while. 2 more have recently come to light through a new leak. But the video clarifies which 2 new weapons will likely enrich our arsenal starting next week.
At the end of the clip, Price and Gaz can be seen, each prominently holding a weapon:
- Gaz is armed with the Kriss Vector, a submachine gun. This weapon has been eagerly awaited by many fans since the launch of Modern Warfare.
- Price is equipped with the Galil, an assault rifle, which has been leaked recently and will debut in the MW series. Previously, it was featured in the CoD Black Ops series.
These are likely the two weapons that will then be available through the new Season 4 battle pass.
What other weapon is coming? Modern Warfare and Warzone traditionally introduce 3 new weapons per season – 2 that are announced in advance, and one secret.
What the third weapon could be is currently speculation. Many players are hoping for a new sniper, and this wish could indeed come true.
Leaks suggest that in addition to the Vector and the Galil, there are 4 more weapons that have already been discovered in data, as well as in images or video material and could also come into play with Season 4. One of them is a sniper rifle.

- XM109/AMR – Sniper
- Akimbo swords (2 knives in the style of Shoto swords)
