Roadmap for Season 6 – What to Expect at the Start of the New Season
The new Season 6 already offers various new content right from the start. So you can expect:
New Season 6 Battle Pass: Traditionally, a new season also brings a new Battle Pass with 100 levels. This includes a free reward track that is free for all players. All gameplay-relevant items can be freely unlocked by everyone there – for example, the new base weapons.
In addition, there is also a paid premium track. This costs 10€ or 1,000 CoD points and offers more cosmetic rewards. There is also a Season Pass bundle for 2,400 CoD points, which includes an additional 20 tier skips.
2 new weapons: With Season 6, initially 2 new weapons come into play via the Battle Pass:
The Russian assault rifle AS Val (at level 31) and the DMR SP-R208 (at level 15. Initially, most assumed this to be a sniper).
2 new operators: Traditionally, there are also new operators – 2 of them right at the start of the new season: Farah, the rebel leader from the campaign, and Nikolai, an old friend of Captain Price.
Farah is available immediately upon purchasing the Battle Pass, while Nikolai must be unlocked at level 100.
New finishing move: There will also be a new finishing move via the Battle Pass. Soon you will be able to unleash a bat on your enemies.
What’s New in the Launch Week for Modern Warfare
New maps: Right at the start, there will be several new maps for traditional multiplayer.
- Mialstor Tank Factory: Here you will battle through an old tank factory
- Broadcast: This is a remake of the popular map from the original Modern Warfare, set in a television station
- Station for the Shoot House mode: Here you can battle in a small format at a train station
- Verdansk Riverside for Ground War: In the large-scale Ground War mode, you can now battle in a suburb of Verdansk by the frozen Gora River near the airport
New Mode “Killstreak confirmed”: A variant of Kill Confirmed. Killstreaks are earned by collecting dog tags, and the killstreaks do not reset upon your death. Additionally, multiple of the same killstreak can be earned in one life. The first team to collect the specified number of dog tags wins the match.
What’s New in the Launch Week for Warzone
The new subway network: The game world of Warzone will be expanded with a subway network in Season 6. There will be new locations to fight at with the stations, as well as new ways to move quickly around the map using the metro system.
You can learn more about it here: CoD Warzone: The subway is coming with Season 6 and is as cool as it looks
New mode “Armored Royale”: This is a new variant of the battle royale. Each squad receives an armored truck with a turret and heavy armor.
Team members can respawn as long as the truck is intact, but if it is destroyed, you cannot return after death. The last squad standing at the end wins.
Roadmap for Season 6 – What to Expect Throughout the New Season
Throughout the season, the traditional multiplayer of Modern Warfare and the battle royale Warzone will be fed with a variety of new content. So you can still look forward to the following content:
New event – Haunting of Verdansk: This is a new event that will take place from October 20 to November 3 and will feature its own limited-time modes and rewards.
Halloween will likely play a role here, as this holiday falls within this time period. Will the leaked Zombie Royale and the night mode come into play? Night scenes with the full moon were already visible in the trailer.
Another new weapon: As a third new weapon, the Butterfly Knife, a new melee weapon, will be added throughout the season.
Numerous new multiplayer modes: Additionally, the traditional multiplayer mode is set to receive more new modes. These include among others:
- Hard Point – Hills & Kills
- Gun Game – Team Deathmatch
- HQ Firefight
- Gunfight Tournament
- Team Deathmatch – Snipers only
